Following the success of the first five years, FFOCOL will return for an exciting SIXTH year. FFOCOL continues to strive to raise awareness of film as an art AND business. We hope to create an experience that will bring a new and diverse cultural event to the area. The festival aims to bring people together, showcasing seasoned and rising filmmakers and extraordinary work from around the world all while raising awareness of Columbus and Central Ohio as a filmmaking destination.

FFOCOL welcomes director Lea Thompson (Back to the Future, Some Kind of Wonderful), star/writer Madelyn Deutch, star Melissa Bolona, and producer Danny Roth for a discussion after the film and to close out this years Film Festival of Columbus.

Producer/Director Joseph Cahn will be in attendance to introduce his highly acclaimed documentary The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel. A former Nazi soldier who, after immigrating to the US in 1953, worked nearly three decades for a Jewish family.
